Speaking & Teaching
Making technical ideas intuitive, then putting them to work
I speak at industry conferences, give guest lectures and train on Treasury, liquidity, funding, financial stability and bank risk. My aim is to make complex ideas intuitive, and then give participants the chance to apply them through decisions and discussion.
Training in practice
Presenting to Europe's banking supervisors
For several years I have presented on liquidity management to central banks and supervisors from around 30 European countries through the European Supervisor Education initiative (ESE): once a year online, and every autumn in person at the Banque centrale du Luxembourg. Recent themes include deposit concentration after SVB and HQLA monetisation risk.

Guest lectures at King's Business School
On bank liquidity management and the evolving banking industry in 2024, and for the Money and Banking course in 2025.

Liquidity, risk and Funds Transfer Pricing
Over the years I have trained thousands of bankers in liquidity management, risk management and Funds Transfer Pricing.
